Super Secret AdWords Landing Page Quality Score Update
Via Search Engine Roundtable there was a landing page quality score update last night.
I really didn't notice any abnormal changes in any of my accounts except for an affiliate campaign I've been running. Even though that campaign was doing well for me in terms of conversions the landing page is just a affiliate loaded piece of junk. I'm not surprised it's getting hit with high minimum bids...I actually expected this to happen weeks ago.
Has anyone running a clean landing page (no ads or affiliate content/links) been hit with high minimum bids?
Update aside, it seems odd that the only place that announced it was SER. Is the AdWords blog broken or something;-)

Hey Jeremy. I checked my AdWords stats for yesterday and I don't see a blip in my CPC. And I hope I don't notice anything in the days to come!
Absolutely no visible impact on any of the (14) accounts that I'm managing.
I don't have any affiliate campaigns, so it looks like it's just hitting them.
I should probably feel bad for the people affected, but I know how much those pages annoy me, and from a professional perspective, it's great news if some of the competition disappears.
At the risk of sounding like I'm lecturing people, running an entire business based solely on a single advertising portal was always a bit risky, and Google have made no secret of the fact that they don't like the affiliate sites...
I didnt notice anything at first like the other posts but now my positions are going nuts. I have a keyword that has an "average" position of 3.5 today, but every time I searched for it, it was at the bottom of the 2nd page. The quality score is showing as "great".
