Keyword Tools

I get a lot of questions about keyword suggestion tools - which are the best, what tools do you use to find keywords, where are the free keyword tools, which keyword tools should I buy, etc, etc.

While by no means all inclusive, here is a list of keyword tools I use from time to time. The list below is in no particular order.

1. Wordtracker keyword tool.
2. Overture keyword tool.
3. AdWords external keyword tool.
4. Digitalpoint keyword suggestion tool (combo wordtracker/overture data).
5. Google Suggest.

adCenter has a couple beta tools at adlabs including the Context-Based Acronym Resolution
tool, the Keyword Group Detection tool, the Keyword Mutation Detection tool and the Keyword Forecast tool.

There are tons of others out there but a lot of them are just rehashing the same data. If I could only use one it would be the paid version of Wordtracker, I have an annual subscription and find it well worth the money.

Enjoy your keyword hunt.

ps - one of the best places to find keywords that convert well for your site is in your server logs/analytics software.

I just want to add the list above for keyword tools.
KeywordDiscovery - Keyword Research Tool which has a much larger keyword database. Great for tail end and niche keyword research.

Can also give a try for a keyword research tool, with results actually reflecting what advertisers are using at the current time.

Just thought I would pop in here and
share real quick.

All the thoughts, tools and ideas
presented are absolutely terrific.

There is just ONE big huge gaping
hole with all the free keyword tools
that services have created to fill
the void of the disappearance of
the Overture tool.

And that is . . . (drum roll please)

NO capability of saving your keywords
in a basket and managing your projects.

Well — since July of 2004,
NicheBOT Classic has been
providing its constantly growing

like a kid in a candy story.

And I’m sure you would agree…

That’s not only what I call
“useful” — but I call that an
awesome solution!
